• Founded in 1868 by Yojuro Kinshichi, Matsunami Shuzo has been brewing hand-crafted sake with excellent water, using traditional skills in the town where the Noto school of brewers originate. Blessed with a suitable climate for brewing sake, we use a traditional iron steam pot and wooden sake vats to this day, and only brew in winter. We are striving to expand the enjoyment of sake to pair them with dynamic seafood dynamic seafood dishes and sweet desserts; we also produce fruit and vegetable liquors.
