How to drink

Sake Arrangement -2

Sake and ice with no added water has become popular with a big hit of penguin-labeled “Ice Breaker”. For strong sake, ice gradually makes it milder, lighter and smoother to drink. If you control the speed of ice melting, depending on whether it is served room-temperature or chilled, or are particular about ice made of sake-making-water or round ice, then your sake will be much tastier. By the way, Hon-mirin (sweet cooking rice wine) and ice tastes good.
Sake and ice certainly reminds us of sake with water. However, it is hard to control the amount of water. Though it is said that water up to 20% of the volume of sake can be added, sake can be watery if it is not perfectly diluted. Please add water starting from around 5% of the volume of sake.
Next, sake with soda. With a tool to add soda, you can mix gas, or even without such a tool, an adjusted amount of carbonated water is useful. It depends on your liking, but our recommendation is non-sweet carbonated water.
